Judge Ellen Toomey-Hale graduated summa cum laude from Temple University with a BA in Criminal Justice and a J.D. from Temple University Law School in her hometown of Philadelphia, PA.

As a crusader for children during her distinguished career in Colorado, she served as a probation officer, district attorney, child advocate, and district court magistrate. She expanded promising young minds as an adjunct professor at the University of Northern Colorado and Aims Community College. Her passion is advising nonprofit organizations and has a great heart for philanthropy. Ellen resides in Colorado with her husband Curt.
